New digital trade fair from TAUCHEN!
The large German diving magazine TAUCHEN, which only recently merged with Unterwasser, is breaking new ground. After the BOOT trade fair, one of the most important meeting places for divers and the diving industry, had to be postponed due to the pandemic and the Interdive in Frankfurt was canceled, TAUCHEN is organizing TAUCHEN digital from February 5 to 8, 2021, the first digital diving trade fair in German-speaking countries .
It will be interesting to see whether TAUCHEN will succeed in closing the gap left by the canceled diving fairs at the beginning of the year with this future-oriented idea.
What is certain is that many divers and potential trade fair visitors have now become professionals in dealing with virtual media after months of Covid-related work in the home office, which was often determined by video conferences and virtual presentations. Examples from the B2B area have already shown that such virtual trade fairs have great potential.
In addition to a daily program with lectures, presentations and interviews, there will also be virtual exhibition stands from exhibitors from the diving area, as well as live and video chat functions with which visitors can contact the exhibitors directly.
Some well-known names from different areas of the diving industry have already accepted. Manufacturers such as Scubapro and Forth Element are represented as well as dealers (Action Sport, Liquid Sports), tour operators (Beluga Reisen, etc.) diving centers (including the Petrodivers from Mallorca, Golden Rock Dive, Raja 4 Divers) and the Association of German Sports Divers (VDST) will be there with a booth.
